ELECTRIC VEHICLE BAYS

Electric vehicles are becoming more popular with every year that passes, so the demand for electric vehicle charging bays is on the increase. The UK government has pledged to ban sales of petrol and diesel vehicles from 2040 onward, so it’s important to take this into account when considering your car park markings.

If you need to install specialised electric vehicle charging points on your premises, you will ideally need some electric parking bay markings to help identify the areas. The most common design is a green background with white lines marked showing an image of an electric car charging on each bay. However you are free to choose any design for your electric charging bay line markings, as there is no universal standard for charging bays.
